Being actively involved in the health and fitness market, I tend to read countless product reviews, although to be perfectly honest, I no longer read as many as I once did. To begin with, the vast majority of them are only written for one reason, and that is to try and steer you towards buying a particular product. Most of these reviews are written by people who have very little knowledge regarding skin care and etc. Most are also not willing to do any research on a certain product prior to writing the review.
The second reason I do not read too many reviews anymore is simply because 99% of the creams and lotions being sold now-a-days contain chemicals, and I personally refuse to promote or even advocate any skin care product if there are any chemicals in it. Since I don't have any interest in these types of products, I also do not have any need to read reviews about them.
I do use skin care products, including a good anti-aging cream, but I can assure you, there is not a single chemical in any of them. Of course if you make the decision to follow this route, finding the best products can be quite challenging, and this is when a good honest wrinkle cream review can come in very helpful. Not only can it save you a considerable amount of money, but it can also help you to get the sort of results you are hoping for.
Quite often, one can easily tell if a review is biased, or if the author is simply trying to sell you something. On other occasions, a review can be extremely convincing even if it is not entirely honest. One good tip for avoiding these is to look for mention of collagen.
Collagen is admittedly the cornerstone of healthy, youthful looking skin, but there is a catch. The only collagen capable of maintaining the health of your skin is the collagen your own body produces. Collagen that is added into an anti-aging cream serves no purpose whatsoever since collagen is unable to penetrate human skin. It is a physical impossibility, irrespective of what any skin care manufacturer says.
A good wrinkle cream review will almost always mention and discuss a few of the ingredients in a particular product. If the author places a lot of emphasis on "added collagen" then you should immediately question the integrity of the review. The author is either trying to sell you the product or some other product they are promoting, or else they are not very knowledgeable with regards to skin care and skin care products.
Your skin is an amazing organ capable of withstanding an incredible amount of abuse, but it does have its limits. In some ways, skin is very resilient, but it is also very sensitive, and facial skin even more so. As a result, you need to be exceptionally careful when choosing a wrinkle cream or else you could end up making matters worse. Remember, some creams will produce instant results, but they will be causing long-term damage at the same time. If a cream can instantly cause enough inflammation to hide lines and wrinkles, then my common sense tells me there is some nasty stuff in it.
